Should students still read Anthem and/or I am the Cheese despite the contreversal content? Why?

  1. Absolutely. Reading controversial literature expands ones horizons and is critical in forming ones own values and opinions. It is important for a student to be exposed to a wide variety of opinions, to integrate them into a total body of knowledge, and decide through his/her own thinking what he/she agrees and disagrees with.
